Surface air temperature from meteorological data
Here an archive on monthly and
annual mean surface air temperature measured at the 2 m height at meteorological
stations to the north of 60o N is placed. Geographical positions
of the stations are shown in the map. The chosen stations have the longest
observational records. Collected surface air temperature data indicate substantial fluctuations in the high northern latitudes on decadal to multi-decadal time scales, including pronounced two warm periods: the 1920s-1940s and since the 1970s. more >>

Besides, you have an access to temperature
data at 13 stations in the North West region of Russia, including Kola Peninsula,
Republic of Karelia, the eastern part of Arkhangelsk district and the northern
part of Leningrad district. For the region as a whole, a noticeable increase
of annual air temperature during the XX century was detected. To
look at a full analysis of temperature data for NW Russia please go to regional
analysis section of the CLIMAS web site.
